Hello folks, I hopped on my TC33D the other day and noticed something kinda strange. The steering wheel was all the way in the forward position(not wher I left it last) I pulled it back into position but it wouldn't lock, it just slowly goes back to the forward position.. which is like driving a bus!

How can I fix this hopefully w/o going to the dealer. Thanks and Happy New Year to all!!!

Peters is right, you won't be the first one with this problem. IIRC the dealer has a fix for it. If yours is under warranty you have it made - not sure if their is a PIP program for it though. ....

My problem was that the wheel would not lock in any position.I could tilt the wheel to any position but as soon as I let go of the wheel it would go to the full up position. Guess what...I fixed it!!! I took the side panels off and hit the top cross pin connecting the shock with a hammer a few times and bingo! The little actuator pin on top of the shock was stuck. I had sprayed it with WD40 a week earlier. I don't know if that made any difference. ....
